Trindade station, in Oporto, loaded up with people to attend to “Alegria com Aletria” (“Joy with Vermicelli”), a social responsibility action managed by Cerealis, with the objective of promoting a gathering of donations to the Portuguese League against Cancer.

During the event, produced by Expanding group, the world’s biggest vermicelli was made, with about 375 kilos, which entered the famous Guinness Book of Records. Simultaneously, throughout the day, countless events took place for all ages, such as workshops or showcookings organized specially for elderly people. Furthermore, the exhibition of “The history of Vermicelli”, that presented some curiosities about this dessert, was set up in the metro’s station inferior floor.
